My name is Dr. John L. Gage and on behalf of my wonderful staff, I would like to welcome you to our dental practice. I would like to take the opportunity to give you a little bit of insight into what we do at Gage Dental Sanger and just why we do things the way that we do them.
First, have you ever been to the dentist and had your teeth cleaned and x-rays in 30 minutes and been rushed to the front to pay? Well...so have I! After years of seeing other great dentists try to make a living by having a herd of people get their teeth cleaned every day, I really realized that we weren't really getting everything completed that we were taught in dental school needed to be done. What was recommended could not possibly occur in 30 minutes, nor in one visit in many cases.
For example, how often do you have your blood pressure checked at the dental office, was it just when you have had a tooth taken out? Well...me too! Unfortunately, many people don't go to the doctor for check ups, and dentists are sometimes the only line of defense for discovering silent killers like High Blood Pressure. Really, it comes down to just doing the due diligence that all dentists were taught in dental school.
So how do we do what we do? Well...first we have spectacular group of Dental Hygienists! We put you in a very comfortable dental chair equipped with televisions. We go out of our way to run on time so you didn't have to wait too long in our comfortable waiting room, but if you were watching our big screen television in the waiting room, you won't miss a minute because we can put it on whatever you were watching in the treatment room. Then we promise to do everything they taught us in dental school and hygiene school to make sure you have a fantastic dental experience at Gage Dental Sanger.
Our Number One Priority:
Well, in reality, we want you to want to come back. We want you to tell your families and friends about our staff and that we treated and cared for you like never before. Most dentists hear all day about how people "hate" the dentist, or at least they "hate" what we do. Well, if you leave here feeling like you "hate" what I do, I need to be doing something else for a living.
We will try our best to alleviate your fears and work within the limits of your fears. We offer Nitrous Oxide or "Laughing Gas" or conscious sedation anti-anxiety medications and carefully monitor you throughout your treatment.
We have state-of-the-art facilities, and we have impeccable sterilization professionally monitored by Baylor College of Dentistry Sterilization Monitoring all easily viewable from your stroll to you treatment room. We have an emphasis on Soft Tissue Management or professional teeth cleaning with a host of preventive measures, because many people lose their teeth to Periodontal Disease or "Gum" disease with "bone loss".
Basically, we just want to do everything we can to get things right and make you happy!
